Quality

The choice of the right producer is probably the greatest challenge in the Asian area. Especially China with its booming economy. Its yearly BIP growth in double figures and a mixture of a controlled and market economy appears very attractive.

An entrepreneur makes a great leap due to lower wages and is then taken aback when he recognizes the reality: little knowledge of foreign languages, bureaucracy, protectionism and cultural differences are evident.

Moreover, product piracy and reports about failed entrepreneurs always scratch at the country's image, which discourages many businessmen to let produce into China or to place their trust in Asiatic suppliers.

Goonet comes in right here. Evaluations of specialized producers, inclusion of external audits and controls as well as cooperation agreements are a part of our confidence- building measures. Our own professionals on site ensure the observance of all criteria, visiting the producers regularly.

Specialized Producers
In contrast to Europe, in Asia there are less generalist but many more specialists. When placing a request it is much more important to provide all details so that the evaluation of the appropriate producer will be facilitated.

External Audits
All producers collaborating with Goonet are checked and surveyed by independent, externals audits examining the following criteria:

  • Company profile
  • Operating procedures and organization
  • Product line and capacity
  • Factory facilities and conditions of the machinery
  • Quality management
  • Social responsibility
  • Suppliers
  • Hygiene and safety
  • Environment
  • Certificates

EN ISO 9001
This document sets out the requirements for a quality management System (QM-System) in the event an organization has to guarantee its ability to provide products which satisfy the customer's needs and meet all statuary and regulatory requirements seeking to increase customer satisfaction.

This normative document exemplarily describes the whole quality management system and is the basis for an extensive quality management system.

The 8 quality management principles:

  1. Customer focus
  2. Leadership
  3. Involvement of personnel
  4. Process approach
  5. System approach to management
  6. Continual improvement
  7. Factual approach to decision making
  8. Mutually beneficial supplier relationship

International customer basis
In Asia, the same products are offered in two different qualities – for the domestic market and for export. In so doing and because of the lack of guarantee rules in the local market, worse quality is offered. High quality products are primarily destined for export.

Goonet takes special care in the choice of the producer that there is an already existing, international customer network and that the producer preferably manufactures solely for export.

So it is possible to work against the potential source of trouble – poor quality goods and a double Supply Chain.

External quality inspectors
Goonet engages external quality controllers who, on the other hand, check production processes in addition to the company’s internal inspectors.

Tightened cooperation agreement
With producers, who satisfy all criteria, cooperation contracts are signed containing, in addition to the above mentioned points, regulations on delivery date agreements, privacy terms and access to documents representing therefore another procedure for quality assurance.

Packing and Shipping
Components are packed separately from each other to avoid damages during shipping. The organization of the shipping from the port of the country of origin (FOB) to the port of the country of destination (C&F) or to the town of destination is self-evident for Goonet.
